Minnesota Motorcycle Activists - Action Required

A message was recently sent informing all that the Minnesota Motorcycle Safety Advisory Task Force is seeking membership applications. The A.B.A.T.E. of MN. Legislative Team would like to encourage safety minded A.B.A.T.E. member to consider applying for membership. This Task Force has advisory oversight of important safety issues. They may share opinions on Minnesota Motorcycle Safety Program, road conditions, safety training, crash reporting or other items they feel are important to the safety of motorcyclists. This Task Force should also advise on the use of MILLIONS of motorcyclist’s dollars. Dollars that every endorsed motorcyclist in Minnesota contributes as part of their endorsement fee.

There are some that feel the Task Force has done little to benefit motorcycle safety the past few years and feel improvements should be made. If you have a strong voice for motorcycle safety and you have six evenings a year to give back to the motorcycle community please consider submitting an application.

The task force meets on the third Thursdays of odd numbered months 5:30 PM -7:00 PM. If you are willing to take part, please go to the Secretary of State website at https://www.sos.mn.gov/. Click on "Boards and Commissions", then "Open Positions", and search "Motorcycle Safety Advisory Task”

Applications need to be submitted by August 5, 2025.
