Thank You for Your Interest in ABATE of Minnesota’s 2022 Bikerday
Due to the ongoing changes to public gatherings in Minnesota and the Twin Cities, this year’s event is being adjusted to the current circumstances. Please know ABATE of Minnesota is committed to protecting the rights and improving the safety of all Minnesota motorcyclists. We will do this through the hard work of our leadership and the dedication of our members. While grass roots lobbying is quite difficult during the current conditions, we believe having a noticeable presence at the Capitol is important for freedom minded motorcyclists in Minnesota. View the 2022 Bikerday legislative talking points HERE.
For ABATE of Minnesota’s Bikerday 2022, we will not have personal meetings in legislators offices due to restrictions. We will make every effort to send our talking points to all 201 Minnesota legislators. In place of personal meetings, we will have a rally in the Capitol Rotunda with legislative speakers as well as others who share our view of motorcycling freedom and common sense motorcycling safety. Please note facemasks will be required and distancing is encouraged. Please be in the Capitol Rotunda by 8:45am on February 16th to participate. On-line Bikerday registration is now closed. If you would still like to attend, contact Gary at firstname.lastname@example.org
After the Rotunda event, we will move to another room in the Capitol and have lunch and debrief if permissible.
Bus travel to Bikerday is still planned, however this could change due to Covid mandates or lack of participation. Bus schedules are listed HERE. If you are driving to Bikerday, parking information can be found HERE.
